Every dog is different, which is why care at Pawnell is designed to be flexible, calm, and tailored to each individual—right down to accommodating custom meal preps for notoriously fussy eaters who require specific, meticulous culinary care.
Whether your dog is staying for the day or enjoying a longer pawliday, their comfort, routine and wellbeing always come first!
Rates are calculated per calendar day. Discounts apply for 2 or more dogs from the same pack family staying together. Discounts do not apply during peak periods, public holidays, or the festive season.
Slumber Pawty Trial Stay
(Required for all New Dogs)
All new dogs are to complete a paid trial overnight stay before longer bookings are confirmed.
This allows your dog the chance to familiarise themselves with my space and ease in at their own pace. This also gives me the opportunity to understand their personality, behaviour and needs — including making sure they're a good match with any other guests during booked dates.
Mid week trial $80 (drop off by 10am - pick up by 10am the following day).

🐾 Large / Extra Large Dogs 🐾
Off Peak (Mon–Thurs) — $100 per day
Peak (Fri–Sun & Easter, Christmas Period & Public Holidays) — $120 per day
Large dogs are assessed on a case by case basis. If a dog consistently behaves like a wrecking ball in my home setting, I'll advise you and recommend that a kennel-style facility may be better suited to them for future boarding. A surcharge may also apply for dogs requiring significantly higher management.

I can support dogs who need a little extra TLC by:
🐾 Administering creams or oral medication.
🐾 Minor medical care and monitoring.
🐾 Minor wound dressings.
Please note: I am NOT a medical or nursing service. Dogs requiring intensive or specialised post-op care are NOT suitable.

Daycare bookings require upfront payment, cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled date forfeit full payment.

Due to the personalised nature of care at Pawnell, peak periods are limited and fill quickly.
🐾 Easter, public holidays & school holidays — book up to 3 months in advance.
🐾 Christmas & New Year — booked - up to 6 months in advance.
Early bookings are strongly recommended. Last-minute spots occasionally come up, but can never be guaranteed.
🎄 Christmas & New Year Waitlist 💌
A waitlist is available for the Christmas and New Year period.
Confirmed bookings are held with a one-month confirmation window. If a booking is not secured or is cancelled within this timeframe, the space will be offered to clients next in line on the list.
Waitlist placements are contacted on a first come, first served basis as availability arises.

A Note on Fireworks & Loud Events.
For dogs who startle at sudden loud noises, where they stay matters more than people realise.
Pawnell’s location in the beachside suburb of Kurnell puts it away from the main event areas where fireworks are typically set off—meaning our environment tends to be significantly quieter than many other parts of the Shire during major celebrations.
If your pup struggles with noise anxiety, this is a fantastic perk to factor into their stay. Please mention it in your enquiry so we can plan the perfect safe space for them!
